Prevalent Colours: When observing the granite countertop from afar, a series of prominent blue and pink streaks are visible.
Subtle Colours: A closer inspection of the stone allows for a wide variety of cream, red, pink, blue and black nuances to become noticed.
Pattern: The wide variety of subtle colours form irregular waves throughout the countertop, creating a lot of movement within the stone. The pattern is inconsistent, and varies greatly from one part of the slab to another.

Does Juparana Colombo Granite vary with light conditions?
Yes. Under bright light conditions, caused either by sunny days or intense indoor lighting, the pink and red colours are vibrant and they grab the viewer’s attention since they are highly reflective. However, during cloudy days or in the absence of indoor lights, the blue and black tones appear to prevail throughout the stone.

For our bathroom, we were looking for a granite colour that could pick up the blue colour of the vessels and the blue paint of the walls. The Juparana Colombo granite coountertop did exactly that. The underlying pinkish tone was not very important to us, but we really like how it turned out.
We really enjoy how the granite allows the key features of the room, the blue vessels, to stand out and capture one’s attention. We are very happy with the final look of our main bathroom!
