Near the end of 2024, Natural Stone City had the privilege of transforming this stunning residence into a masterpiece of contemporary design.
The kitchen now spotlights the luminous MSI Calacatta Anava 2CM quartz, that perfectly captures the light and softness of a serene home. Beyond the kitchen, our team also renovated two luxurious bathrooms and a functional yet stylish laundry room, maintaining a cohesive and elegant design throughout.
The Focus:
MSI Calacatta Anava Quartz
To complete a truly breathtaking kitchen, we selected MSI Calacatta Anava 2CM quartz, a material that truly embodied our vision of light, softness, and contemporary sophistication.
This remarkable stone material is achieved through revolutionary High Definition Inkjet print technology, which intricately prints realistic marble patterns onto a durable base of quartz and recycled glass. This process delivers the unparalleled beauty and detailed realism of natural marble, while still offering the superior performance benefits of engineered stone.
The Island:
A Masterpiece of Design and Detail
The kitchen island is a heavily used centrepiece and focal point of the kitchen, and so we wanted to make it into something special.
We installed the MSI Calacatta Anava quartz with careful artistry, incorporating dynamic, sloping angles at the seating area, and featuring exquisite cascading waterfall edges at either end.

The Kitchen Sink:

The sink area in this stunning contemporary kitchen is a perfect illustration of how practical elements can also be exquisite design features.
Here, the elegant MSI Calacatta Anava 2CM quartz extends seamlessly from the countertops to form the captivating apron sink, creating a cohesive and luxurious aesthetic.
Complementing the light, natural wood shaker style cabinets, which feature sleek black square-knob handles, is a modern single-handle black gooseneck faucet.
This striking fixture stands proudly over a deep, practical stainless steel basin, offering both sophisticated style and robust functionality.
The Range Hood and Backsplash:
Integrated Elegance
Breaking from traditional designs, the unique range hood is custom-fabricated from the same stunning MSI Calacatta Anava 2CM quartz that graces the countertops and island.
Below, the backsplash behind the stove continues this luxurious application of Calacatta Anava quartz, providing a durable and visually striking backdrop.
The Main Bathroom:
Serene Sanctuary
In the bathroom, Natural Stone City was proud to install a premium quartz countertop here, selected to complement the home's elegant aesthetic.
This beautiful quartz forms the foundation for a spacious vanity, perfectly accommodating double sinks and harmonizing with the warm tones of the light brown wood shaker drawer vanity.
The choice of striking gold gooseneck faucets with double handles adds a touch of classic luxury and a beautiful contrast against the refined veining of the quartz.
The Powder Room:
Bold & Striking Contrast
In one of the home's smaller bathrooms, Natural Stone City embraced a bolder aesthetic, installing a dark grey quartz countertop and matching backsplash to set a sophisticated tone and immediately draw the eye.
The centrepiece of this design is a striking, generously sized white vein that elegantly cuts across the dark grey, which is perfectly matched to flow seamlessly from the backsplash onto the countertop. Another elegant vein cascades from the countertop down over the small, yet impactful, waterfall edge at the front of the vanity.
The Dry Bar:
An Entertainer's Dream
The dramatic elegance of the dark grey quartz with its striking white veins isn't confined to the private spaces; it also makes a show-stopping appearance in the home's stunning dry bar area.
Here, this captivating dark grey quartz is installed on both the countertop and the backsplash, creating a cohesive and luxurious backdrop.
Above the counter, sleek floating shelves, thoughtfully equipped with underlighting, are seamlessly attached to the quartz backsplash.
The Laundry Room:
Functional Elegance
Even the utility spaces can embody a quiet sophistication, as exemplified by this beautiful laundry room.
Here, a dappled grey quartz countertop surrounds the utility sink and provides ample space for folding, making daily chores a more pleasant experience.
This versatile countertop is perfectly complemented by classic cream shaker cupboards, which offer abundant storage, while sleek black handles provide a contemporary accent.
